delayed and the cabin crew was like trainees.. a bit careless and not so pleasing to their job
The staff was marvelous. The entertainment options were terrible, old or 2nd rate movies. I was unable to entertain myself for 18 hours-it made it seem even longer. Note: I thought about upgrading but your information about what was included was unclear. Are the seats bigger? Are there current moves? What kind of food do you get? Would the upgrade compare to Delta? Just saying the upgrade is better didn’t convince me and I regret not flying Delta.
EVA air was nice. It was the first time I’ve flown with them. The poor entertainment choices for 2 long flights will make me think about choosing them next time. I didn’t know if would effect me so much but I couldn’t sleep and it added to the stress. The food was terrible for me but I couldn’t find how to inform them about my diet when I bought my ticket.
Amazing crew, excellent food, business class seats seem a bit dated but are super comfy even for a very tall person. If continuing onto Taipei, the stopover in Bangkok is a bit annoying (queue at security) though the lounge is decent.
Plane is new and I was upgraded to first class so all was great.
The flight from Taipei to LAX was the first time we encountered rudeness from the crew. From the gate agents to the in flight crew. We had received such wonderful service going to Bali and on our Bali to Taipei flight that it shocked us when the gate agent was rude and then the rudeness continued on the flight to LAX.
Overall great experience. All four members of my family were seated together without paying extra to reserve seats. Everything was on time. Food was great and healthy. Media entertainment was good. Rock music could be added as a listening choice. No issue with baggages. Flight attendants were friendly and helpful. I would recommend EVA to friends and family.
As a senior traveller it’s difficult to be seated all the way at the back
Their announcement was not quite clear in Chinese. The rest is pretty good.
