I purchased the ticket online and went to do online check in amd the app wouldnt let me. I went to the airline desk and they couldnt confirm my ticket in their system. I ended up having to buy a ticket from the airline directly and paying twice for the same flight. The app wouldnt lwt me check in the kayak purchased ticket until after my flight was taken off.
Underpricer was terrible. They wanted to charge me $150 for a seat asignment. Kayak is responsible for letting this happen. Please let me know if this is going to happen in the future. If it is i will not use kayak in the future.
They woke us up 2.5 hours before the flight was over? Why? If I'm on a long haul flight I want to sleep as much as possible. Also, didn't mention the mattress pads in business class so missed out on using those. The western meal of truffle, salmon pasta was the awful. Had a different fish dish on JAL that was great but that pasta was a mish-mash of too many random things that didn't make sense plus dry fish. Staff was friendly and helpful.
I loved Ryuichi Sakamoto's OPUS in the movie choice.
Too bad the plane didn't work after we taxied out to get in line for take-off. We went back to the gate and waited for almost 90 minutes for them to find a plane that worked. Waited another hour to board. When we got to Rochester we waited for over an hour for our bags to appear. The agent said they only had three people working to load and unload baggage. A one hour flight took an extra four hours. It would have been faster to rent a car at JFK and drive to Rochester.
One of the best economy flights I’ve ever taken .
Good legroom. Front seatback has best compartmentalization, netted pockets on sides of tv monitor for eyeglasses, water bottles etc. For Economy, best food across the Pacific. JAL doesn't skimp on quality to squeeze out more profit. No prepackaged items in plastic wrap. Cocktail service first with nibbles, Wine in your own 2 glass bottle. Later dinner service, more wine! Lastly, breakfast-lunch, more wine if you choose. Lastly, the friendliest most smiling crew across the Pacific.
I said the boarding was just par with other airlines, but I can't think of a way to improve it.
bag dropped took over an hour. there was only one agent behind the counter. Definitely need improvements on food! crews were very pleasant n helpful

I purchased Qatar airways after seeing ads about its service. To my surprise Qatar is marketing gimmick and horrible airlines which I don’t recommend to anyone Flight was dirty including flight from Miami to Doha And Doha airport restrooms are dirty On top of this they use this pathetic cheap indigo From Doha to Hyderabad which I will never fly Also they lost one of my baggage in Indigo and still waiting to receive it. I will never travel Qatar and will never recommend
Worst air experience in whole life . Boarding and checking was hassle as they did 3 times. Crew team was clueless about passengers need. Despite of passengers raising hand , they were resetting the program
There was not enough food for everybody. Some dishes were missing.
The overall flight experience between Doha and Kolkata was satisfactory. The staff onboard were notably engaged, responsive, and enthusiastic, providing a level of service that stood out, especially when compared to the less attentive crew on the earlier leg from Heathrow to Doha. Their eagerness to assist made the journey more pleasant. Additionally, the time spent at the Silver Lounge in Doha contributed positively to the experience. The lounge offered a comfortable and relaxing environment, with adequate amenities and attentive staff. Overall, both the flight and the lounge experience in Doha met expectations, making for a smooth and satisfactory travel experience.
There was frequent beverage ,meal and snack service. The crew was very hospitable and professional.
Being a QR Platinum member traveling in business class, I expected the staff to be more courteous. Unfortunately, the lady staff was rude attending business class 1K side.
Check in desk people constrained by fear. Obvious typo on Uganda visa, even though approved, caused loss of flight. Something is definitely wrong with this system.
Operated by American Airlines. Very chaotic and the crew was bit rough responding any enquiries. Restricted leg space.. Qatar would have been better
It was a long flight but overall a good one. The one thing that I would comment on is that there is a real problem with disposable plastic products when it comes to the meal service. It would be great for Qatar Airways to find ways to make its meal service more circular and reduce the immense amount of waste.

My flight was completely full. Making me very stressful with people walking around all the time. I believe airlines can do better for entertain people during the flight.
Short flying. The seats do not recline at all and very uncomfortable.
United Airlines changed my flight 5 hours before I arrived at the airport. This messed up my entire day that I arrived in Japan.
Being stick waiting for gate at ORD cause me to almost miss my connecting flight…being deaf United made no no effort to keep me updated as I couldn’t hear the PA

The pairing of personal Bluetooth headset did not work, provided headset did not work, then the screen locked and therefore no in-flight entertainment was available.
I was not expecting much as i was not in a premium cabin. I was pleasantly surprised that the seat in economy plus was spacious and food was ample. Party of 5 with 2 parents and 3 kids.
Generally good but there wasn’t any staff available when my luggage didn’t appear at baggage claim in Fresno. It took about half an hour to locate a staff member to open up the locked room where it was being kept.
All flights were on time and boarding was issue free
