Pros:The location was excellent. Breakfast was satisfactory. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Head of housekeeping checked daily to see if everything was OK and did we need something. A very nice man. Facility is old but has been kept up. Would stay there again. Good value for money.

Pros:We were only in Scottsdale or one night so we wanted something cheap and in the heart of Old Town and this was the perfect location. I'm a hotel snob so I'll have to admit that this hotel isn't the BEST of the best but it was alright. The room space is great, the bathroom is okay, the location is awesome, the pool is GREAT. The complimentary breakfast was nice, there are no cooked eggs or whatever, just cereal, oatmeal, coffee, tea, bakery goods, toast, english muffins, ETC. The staff was FRIENDLY and very helpful.
Cons:I didn't like the quality of the blankets. The sheets and pillows are FINE but it's the blanket that I felt icky about. I'm used to the lobby having a guest bathroom but they do not have one. they have a bathroom behind the clerk desk and it has cleaning supplies in it, it was weird. If they could, they could just put in a divider or something to cover it up. Or build a door/closet in the bathroom.

Cons:My room near the front of the hotel was too close to Indian School Road. I would have preferred a quieter room near the back.
