Free wifi and at least a handful of free parking spots make this place head and shoulders above anything nearby - I’m looking at you Marriott!!

Pros:Love the hotel in general and rooms
Cons:Called ahead for an early check-in but ended up waiting about 3 hours before finally getting into a room and we were in a time crunch to make it to a wedding. Also we paid for parking but there was no parking available so we had to call someone to help us who instructed us to park in the handicap parking

Cons:The cleaning staff started they vacuuming right outside of the rooms at 5am. Also, none of the promises that were made to me in terms of service were taken care of. They lied to appease me and then no follow thru.

Pros:good distance to SD downtown, Torrey Pines Reserve and several beaches; also a gigantic outdoor mall across the street Breakfast & Happy Hour were very nice (included in room rate) Clean hotel & room

Pros:The lobby is beautiful with Koi ponds and waterfalls. The front desk staff was super nice and accommodating, which was fantastic. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Room service was delicious and fast, and the staff that delivered it was so friendly! The complimentary breakfast was awesome as well, with made to order omelettes and such. There was also a free happy hour, which made it very easy to stay at the hotel to enjoy dinner and drinks.
Cons:The bathroom. While it was clean, it was just "eh". For the price of our stay, I expected a bit more. It had a standard tub, with a standard shower head, that did have a few settings. It would have been nice to have a larger tub, or a jetted tub, with a removable shower head. It also seemed that the room above us was not carpeted, so we were able to hear luggage rolling around up there occasionally.
