Jersey hotels

The largest nature reserve in Jersey is Les Mielles Nature Reserve on the west coast of the island. It stretches all the way from La Pulente at the southwestern tip of the island to L’Etaq in the northwest. You can stay in any of the towns on the Grande Route des Mielles that runs north to south along the coast. Otherwise, St. Ouen is situated just outside the northeast edge of the nature reserve.

Choose a hotel in the town that’s closest to the event you want to attend. The main events in Jersey are held in August. There’s Surf Fest in St. Ouen, and here you can book at Apartments La Rocco, right on the bay. The Out There Festival is another very popular event, held at the Val de la Mare lake and reservoir. You can stay at The Prince of Wales Hotel in Saint Peter to be close to this festival. Another fascinating annual event is the Affordable Art Fair in St. Aubin. If you're attending this, consider staying at accommodation such as the St. Magloire Guest House.

By far the largest concentration of clubs, bars and other nightlife venues can once again be found in the main town of St. Helier. The best neighbourhoods to head for are the Waterfront Centre and The Esplanade. You can party the night away with a panoramic view over the bay, and there are plenty of hotels to choose from in the area. The Mornington Hotel and the Ommaroo Hotel are two inexpensive options for accommodating groups.
