A morning coffee can do wonders when you want to explore Chicago during the day, so it’s very convenient that a Starbucks is on the hotel premises for you. It is, in fact, Chinatown’s first Starbucks and effortlessly fuses Asian and American morning traditions. The seating area in the coffee shop also creates a pleasant ambiance to work in or to plan your day.
As a casual city choice, the Jaslin Hotel does not feature its own parking lot, but there are plenty of public parking spaces in the close vicinity. If you come by car, inquire at the hotel desk about the best nearby parking options and receive discounts by taking the hotel’s parking vouchers. As the hotel is well-connected with public transport, choosing a P+R and taking public means into the city may also be an option to consider.
Children of all ages are welcome to stay in the hotel, and up to two children under the age of 16 can sleep at the Jaslin Hotel for free when using the beds provided in the rooms. Cribs for toddlers and babies can be arranged upon request and free of charge. Due to space restrictions, extra beds cannot be provided, so check whether your maximum room capacity allows sufficient sleeping space for everyone. The double queen rooms are comparably spacious and allow families with up to three children.
For a budget trip with all amenities in place, the Queen Bedroom with city views is a particular gem for guests who want more for less. Especially perfect for couples on romantic getaways, this room sleeps two without space for a crib, but with large windows that nicely frame the incredible views of the Chicago skyline.
When going by car, Midway Airport is marginally closer to the Jaslin Hotel with an estimated driving time of about 15min. Get on I-55 North and take exit 293A, staying in the two left lanes to reach W Cermak Road. Turn left onto Cermak Road and find the hotel on the left-hand side. Coming from O’Hare Airport via I-90 East will take about 25min. Take exit 52C and turn left onto W 18th Street and then right onto S Canal Street. Another left turn gets you onto W Cermak Road where the hotel is situated. When going public, hop on the Blue line from O’Hare and Orange line from Midway to reach Lake or Roosevelt Station, respectively, from where the Red line goes directly to Chinatown.
With its 24h reception in place, guests can enjoy plenty of flexibility for their individual needs, and you can even request an early check-in or late-check out if your travel arrangements call for it. All check-ins and check-outs are subject to availability and need to be confirmed by the hotel beforehand.
