Pros:I loved the location. Central to everything. Food was okay, but could be better.
Cons:There's really something wrong about the way the staff handled people generally. I could easily compare with other Boracay hotels I have tried. THEY NEED A REVAMP of their staff, and a serious re-training. It was more like dealing with a government office than a hotel. Also: you don't do renovations when there are guests, and expect that guests would be irate when they're all after some peace and quiet and all they hear all morning is the constant hammering and drilling. I was moved from one room to another, but it had to take me being so mad on their phone before things could be decided on. Decisions made must be firm, swift and with the guest's ultimate comfort in mind—a lesson I'd like to tell the manager.

Pros:Room was very clean (room 331). No ants, spiders, or other bugs mentioned in some of the other reviews. Beds were comfortable, shower had great water pressure, AC worked well. Easy to obtain extra bottles of water (free of charge) for the mini fridge in the room. The pool was a great place to read and relax while having a snack and drink from the bar. Customer service was great, we did not have any bad experiences. The front desk helped us get a trike to ride out to Spider House to watch the sunset, and they also helped us with our spa bookings and with booking a sunset sail. The breakfast buffet was just what you would expect at a big resort hotel - nothing fancy, but had lots of options so it was easy to find something to eat. The ala cart breakfast restaurant was quieter if that's something that is important to you. Transferring from the airport was a breeze. Was very easy to find the Hennan representative at the arrival gate.
Cons:The food we ordered at Mesa was not very good - may have just been what we ordered. The jacuzzi at the spa was too hot to enjoy, but the Kai Spa at the hotel was otherwise very lovely.

Pros:The location of this hotel, beachfront and in the thick of things, was what made me select this (I had passed by it on previous Boracay visits). I was not disappointed. There are a couple of good restaurants and a happening bar in the property. The staff is welcoming and efficient. It's a big property, so there are many guests, but I never felt crowded in any one area of it. I will certainly go back to this hotel.

Pros:location on beach is nice. umbrellas on beach and towels are nice. Temperpedic style mattress
Cons:Staff is not genuinely friendly and kind of smug. I had a leak in my bathroom over the toilet. Asked to move rooms, they fixed leak for a few hours then it started again but would not move me. The wifi is not free but should be for the high price. Not the best experience for me. Better options around for less.
