Hotel Plantage is located opposite the Artis Zoo and offers free Wi-Fi. Each room has double glazing and light-proof curtains for a peaceful sleep. The guest rooms have box-spring beds and a private bathroom and a TV. Hotel Plantage does not serve breakfast, but there are a large variety of restaurants and cafés in the surrounding area. Fresh coffee and cold soft drinks are available 24-hours a day in the lobby. Private parking is not available, however there is public parking in the vicinity. The Plantage Kerklaan tram stop is located opposite the hotel and offers access to Amsterdam Central Station with tram 14. The Red Light District is a 15-minute walk away.

Pros:Staff was refreshingly friendly and accomadating. I had never had someone offer to bring luggage to my room before.
Cons:The ventilation for room one was less than ideal. Perhaps a fan or if the window could open more?

Pros:Location
Cons:Wasn't expecting much from a 2* Hotel but location was convenient so payed just under €900 for 3 nights for the Triple room. Beds are small with blankets that could be mistaken for sheets in a cold room with no heating. Bed bugs, stained carpets and extremely dirty. Staff were friendly but didn't make our stay anymore comfortable. Overall wouldn't stay here again if offered free of charge. We all came back with bites all over and couldn't get an acceptable night of sleep during our stay.
